Welcome to IP Stewardship Lab. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at https://ipstewardshiplab.com (the "Site") and the services provided by IP Stewardship Lab ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our Site or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our Site or services.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you and that organization.

About the Company

IP Stewardship Lab is a stewardship-centered operational intelligence company. We focus on stewardship over hype, literacy over dependency, and operational clarity over complexity. Our services are designed to help high-output professionals and organizations organize, protect, and extend their expertise through human-centered systems and intellectual property (IP) stewardship. The Company operates through two primary divisions:

• Intellectual Property Stewardship Division: providing IP audits, strategy, operational mapping, and framework clarification.
• Systems Division: providing Prompt Stewardship, operational intelligence consulting, workflow architecture, and human-centered AI implementation.

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, including availability of features, content, or access, without liability. Some services may be governed by separate written agreements (for example, a service agreement, cohort agreement, scope of work, or statement of work). If there is a conflict between those documents and these Terms, the written agreement will control for that service.

Not Legal or Professional Advice

IP Stewardship Lab is a business consulting firm. We are not a law firm, and we do not provide legal, tax, financial, or formal compliance advice. Our team, including our AI associates, functions in a legal operations and risk management capacity. Any templates, frameworks, or guidance provided are for educational and operational purposes only and are not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional. We strongly recommend that you consult with a qualified attorney for the interpretation of laws or the finalization of legal documents.

Intellectual Property

A. Our Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Site, its features, and the proprietary methodologies, "Prompt Stewardship" systems, frameworks, templates, educational materials, and other content created by IP Stewardship Lab (collectively, "Lab Materials") are the exclusive property of the Company and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, create derivative works from, or exploit the Lab Materials except as expressly permitted by us in writing.

B. Your Intellectual Property (The Stewardship Principle)

We believe in protecting your edge. You retain full ownership of all intellectual property, unpublished ideas, proprietary frameworks, trade secrets, and organizational knowledge you bring into our process or share during an engagement ("Client IP"). IP Stewardship Lab does not claim ownership over your expertise, your client work, your frameworks, or the specific outputs generated from your proprietary knowledge. Our role is to facilitate stewardship, operational clarity, and implementation support, not to take ownership of what you create.

C. Limited License to Perform Services

By participating in our consulting, cohorts, or subscriptions, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Client IP solely to perform the services you requested. We will not use your Client IP for other clients or for public marketing without your express written consent.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Site responsibly and in a way that does not harm the Site, the Company, or others. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or infringes another party’s rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, accounts, systems, or networks.
• Interfere with the Site’s operation (including introducing malware, scraping, or automated harvesting without permission).
• Share access to paid materials, cohort materials, or proprietary Lab Materials with unauthorized third parties.
• Misrepresent your affiliation with IP Stewardship Lab, Marblism, or any other third-party platform.

Use of AI

Our services may involve the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for reflection, documentation, drafting, and system design.

• Disclosure and mindful sharing: AI may be used within our workflows. You are encouraged to be mindful of what you share and to avoid submitting sensitive personal information or confidential information you are not authorized to disclose into any AI tool.
• Reasonable measures: We take reasonable measures to protect information shared with us. However, we do not provide absolute guarantees of data protection or security within third-party AI environments.
• Literacy over dependency: Our goal is to increase your AI literacy. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-assisted or AI-generated outputs before implementation or reliance.
• Third-party terms: Your use of custom GPTs, automations, or AI tools provided or recommended by us is also subject to the terms of the underlying AI platform providers (for example, OpenAI and other model or platform providers).

IP Stewardship Lab may use AI tools as part of our content creation and editorial process, including blog posts and other published materials. AI is used as a thinking partner and drafting assistant, not a replacement for human judgment, expertise, or editorial oversight. Content is reviewed, refined, and approved by humans before publication. We aim to be transparent about where and how AI contributes, while keeping responsibility and perspective human-led. This disclosure applies to past, current, and future content. If you have questions about how AI was used in a specific piece, we welcome the conversation.

Fees and Refunds

• Clarity of terms: all fees for Snapshots, Workbooks, Cohorts, and Intensive services will be disclosed at the point of purchase so you can review terms before purchase.
• Refund policy: our refund policies are service-specific and will be clearly outlined in your individual service agreement or cohort participation agreement. Generally, digital products and completed consulting hours are non-refundable.

Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services, and our work may involve third-party tools (including AI platforms). We provide these links and references for convenience and operational fit, not as endorsements. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, policies, performance, availability, security practices, or changes. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to the third party’s terms and policies.

Marblism

As part of our Systems Division services, we may use Marblism as a third-party provider to help configure and support AI Superteam setups. IP Stewardship Lab is not a partner, affiliate, agent, or representative of Marblism, and Marblism does not sponsor, endorse, or assume responsibility for our services. Your access to and use of Marblism’s platform (including accounts, billing, data handling, availability, and platform features) is governed solely by Marblism’s own terms, policies, and documentation, and you are responsible for reviewing and complying with them. We are not responsible for Marblism’s acts or omissions, platform performance, outages, or changes to Marblism’s features or policies.

Any templates, frameworks, examples, or guidance provided are for educational and operational purposes only and are not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional.

B. No Guarantee of Outcomes

We offer stewardship-centered support, systems thinking, and operational intelligence. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes (including revenue, business performance, compliance results, or the prevention of disputes). Outcomes depend on your context, decisions, implementation, and factors outside our control.

C. Site Provided "As Is"

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IP Stewardship Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site or any services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall not exceed the amount paid by you to the Company in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IP Stewardship Lab and its owners, team members, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to (a) your use of the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if necessary to protect the Site, our operations, or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property Rights, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
